Cute new little coffee shop. There were many amazing drinks with great customer service and staff. Good pricing on everything. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a cute new place to have coffee in Champaign

I always try to support local and small businesses and really hope they succeed, but unfortunately my overall experience here was pretty awful. There was a noticeable urine smell when/before walking into the store, and the inside also looked quite dirty. The coffee tasted very watered down, almost tasted like the water used to rinse the espresso machine. The milk was not frothed properly. I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing. Hopefully they can improve the cleanliness and drink quality.

I want this place to succeed. Downtown Champaign needs multiple cafe options to keep prices reasonable. That being said, I was disappointed, and I hope they will be able to improve as they get into the swing of things. Regular coffee: flavor was good and it was fresh, but the only self-serve cream option was coffee mate creamer packets. I asked for half and half for my coffee and received "fat free" half and half quart. They really need a full-featured self service cream/sugar station with all the options (and no individual packets of creamer). Menu: there's no menu posted on the wall (that I saw) so I had to wait to get to the counter to read it. Offerings: When we arrived, the pastry case was quite bare, although I can forgive this since we got there around 5pm. Atmosphere: there are tables in the seating space next door, but very few in the main ordering area, so it's just empty floor. Many of the walls are empty, some are partially painted, the space just looks unfinished. Positives: prices are reasonable, and the barista was friendly and greeted us with a smile, making the best of the limited offerings. Hopefully the owner will invest in additional fixtures and training,

I will begin with the fact that no place can replace Kopi. Regardless, this place is still cool and pretty cozy. I wish it had been as busy as Kopi was back in my day, as I pretty much lived and found solace there as a student with no in home wifi. Hoping that they will grow and expand their menu! Always sending positive vibes to a local business. 🥰
